A short testimony...I came to Christ in 1993, approximately 12 years before that I had committed suicide. I had been dead for several minutes and heard the audible voice of God say, "No, it's not your time yet". I felt my spirit being pushed back into my body, like a truck hitting my chest. Not machinery, I wasn't on any, I was dead - but God said NO.
Did I come to Christ immediately, no, I had a deep deception that I would never be good enough for Jesus, He was for the nice people.
I came to Christ by being accidentally in a church & during worship my heart broke and in that one night I gave my heart to Him, was water baptized, received the Holy Spirit and spoke in other tongues.
If you're unsaved and think Jesus can't help you, think again. Just ask, try and you will see. He loves the least as much as what we see as the greatest. Go on ask Him.
Has it always been easy, no. Has it been worth it; are the sacrifices of this world worth what we receive in exchange for His love, YES, YES AND YES.
Go on, just ask Him and find out for yourself.

Sensitive to the Holy Spirit

During praise and worship the Lord gave me a word and a picture - and the picture was of a carton of eggs, and one was broken. I believe the Lord was saying that the broken egg represented broken hearts.
And in the congregation that morning there were people with broken hearts, and in the natural, you know, a broken egg cannot be put together or mended by human hands, but I then saw the egg perfect - and the Lord was saying that He can take a broken heart and mend it until it is perfect as though it had never been broken.
And He wanted that anyone who was in the congregation that morning who was suffering from a broken heart, from past times or present, to come forward and to be ministered to and that He wanted to touch them and minister to them.
The Pastor responded by putting his notes down and saying that we will move on the prophetic word and said that anyone who feels that word was spoken to them was to come forward for prayer. Many people came forward and as the Pastoral team prayed for them and ministered to them there was a great pouring-out of grief and sadness.
As that was released, the Holy Spirit began to minister with His joy. People then started to laugh. By now people were on the floor starting to enjoy the joy of the Holy Spirit as He ministered to them.
As people began to receive the joy, they would reach out and touch the person next to them - some people even just reaching out one arm and holding on to the ankle of the person next to them, and the anointing flowed.
By the end of the ministering the floor was covered with people that had come up with a broken heart who were now laughing and crying with joy.
One word from the Lord and a move of the anointing ministered to by the Holy Spirit can achieve far more than any wisdom that we have to impart of ourselves!
Thank the Lord for Pastors who are sensitive to the move of the Holy Spirit when He desires to do something specific on a particular occasion!
So let us take heed and be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's desires, and flow with what He wants to do as we meet together.

Moving in the Prophetic

One day I was sitting at home relaxing and I felt the Holy Spirit led me to go to the Q Store shops.
My intention had been to go the next day to the Post Office and wondered why I was feeling go now. In obedience I headed off to the Post Office and on my arrival I felt led to go to a shop called The Warehouse - still wondering why, as I didn’t need anything from that store. I went in anyway.
I was expecting an overseas homestay in a few days and thought, Well I’ll buy him an Australian flag and a koala as a welcome gift. As I headed for the checkout I again had a strong feeling, Not yet. Thinking, Oh I don’t want to spend any more money, I just browsed, and shortly afterwards felt to head to the checkout straightaway.
As I lined up I noticed a young lady in front of me - a very rough looking person - with dyed green hair, many earrings and generally like someone I wouldn’t want to mess with.
I heard the Holy Spirit say, Her name is Cassie and I have a message for her.
Of course I thought, Oh boy I’m going to get a punch in the nose here but tapped her on the shoulder and asked, "Excuse me, is your name Cassie?"
I still didn’t know what the Lord had to say to her but was willing to obey.
The young lady turned around and gruffly said, "Yes - what!"
I replied, "I'm a Christian and I believe that God has something He wants you to know. Would you wait on the seat for me until I come through the check out?" and to my surprise she agreed.
Still not having a clue what the message was I prayed and in faith sat next to her and introduced myself.
Straightaway I started telling her that the Lord wanted her to know that what happened in the past was finished and forgiven and that He wanted her to come back home to Him, to feel no condemnation or regret but He was calling her.
To my amazement this very tough-looking girl broke down in tears and told me that she had been a Christian a few years ago but had failed God and turned the other way.
I explained that when Jesus died for us and sent the Holy Spirit that one of the Holy Spirit's names was Helper which meant that Jesus knew that we would need Him and that his forgiveness upon repentance is a promise.
I also explained that it was a lie that she is unworthy in any way. She repented and told me that she had longed to hear these things and would return to her faith.
I never saw Cassie again but I strongly suspect that she did just that. Her genuine sorrow and repentance, her whole countenance was so genuine - and if there’s one thing I know for sure - God doesn’t make Divine appointments for no reason: He knew she was ready.
I finished my business at the Post Office and drove home feeling so blessed and so glad that we can make a difference if we listen to that still quiet voice and obey.
